Fabrication

The company started its stone activity in 1962 in a small workshop in Tarragona, hence the evolution of the name, Marmoles Tarragona. The founder of the company was the father of the present owners Jose Miguel Gil and his brother Antonio.

Having the foresight and vision of an expanding market, in 1988 the Family Beltran moved the factory to its present location in Traiguera where they could build a more modern factory with the latest in fabrication equipment to serve the world market. This present factory has enclosed space of 8,000 M2 and 150,000 M2 of surrounding land area.

This facility along with its 100 workers, produces a quantity of 25,000 M2 per month of finished Cenia. The production varies according to market requirements but generally results in the following:

Slabs: 5,000 M2
Cut to Size: 13,000 M2
Tiles/Misc: 7,000 M2
